In a major step toward modernizing India’s maritime infrastructure, the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has launched a comprehensive Digitalization Initiative aimed at enhancing efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making across the nation’s ports.

The initiative focuses on integrating advanced digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and Blockchain to streamline port operations, cargo tracking, and logistics management.
